FAQ

Questions people ask before subscribing

What is Beat FPL?
Beat FPL is a Fantasy Premier League planning tool for the 2026/27 season. It combines a 15-player squad planner covering all 38 gameweeks, model-based projected points for every player, fixture difficulty ratings for all 20 clubs, and the full player pool with prices, form, minutes and ownership — so you can plan transfers, captaincy and chips on numbers rather than reputation.
Is Beat FPL free?
Yes. The squad planner is free and works without an account, and the player pool, fixture difficulty grid and every guide are free to browse. A premium subscription adds the model numbers on top: projected points, expected minutes, expected goals and assists for every player and gameweek, projected team totals, best-XI optimisation and ranked transfer suggestions.
How much does Beat FPL Premium cost?
Premium is $39.99 USD a year — that works out at $3.33 a month, about 52% less than paying monthly — or $6.99 USD a month with no commitment. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Prices are shown in US dollars; your local currency and any tax are calculated at checkout.
Can I cancel my Beat FPL subscription?
Yes, at any time, from your account page. If you cancel during the 7-day free trial you are not charged at all. If you cancel a paid subscription, it stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and then stops — there is no cancellation fee.
What are projected points?
Projected points is a forecast of how many FPL points a player is likely to score in an upcoming gameweek. It rolls minutes likelihood, goal and assist probability, clean-sheet chance and bonus into a single fixture-aware number — the ranking the planner is built around.
How does the fixture difficulty grid work?
Every Premier League club’s upcoming fixtures are rated from 1 (easiest) to 5 (hardest) based on opponent strength and venue. The grid lays out any range of gameweeks side by side so you can spot fixture swings early and time transfers and chips around them.
What changed in FPL for 2026/27?
The main changes: you now get eight chips — two full sets of Wildcard, Free Hit, Bench Boost and Triple Captain, with the first set expiring at the Gameweek 19 deadline — the Assistant Manager chip is removed, the Bonus Points System was rebalanced (less bonus for clearances, no penalty for being tackled, new goalkeeper save bands), and rank updates now go live from about 20 minutes into each match.
Is Beat FPL affiliated with the Premier League?
No. Beat FPL is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Premier League or the official Fantasy Premier League game.
